Pursuant to art. 13 of the European Regulation n. 679 of 2016 (hereinafter, the " Privacy Regulation "), AIM Italy Srl intends to inform Users about the use of their personal data, log files and cookies collected by browsing the website  https://breatheinthedigitalevolution.com/  (of hereinafter, the " Site ").

1. Owner, Data Protection Officer and Data Processors

2. Information and data collected automatically by the Site

Like all websites, the AIM Italy website also makes use of log files in which information collected in an automated manner is stored during User visits.

The information collected is as follows:

  • Internet protocol (IP) address;

  • type of browser and device parameters used to connect to the Site;

  • name of the internet service provider (ISP);

  • date and time of visit;

  • web page of origin (referral) and exit of the User;

  • possibly the number of clicks.

This information is processed in an automated form and collected exclusively in aggregate form in order to verify the correct functioning of the Site.

Cookies

The Site uses cookies. Cookies are text files recorded on IT support that allow to record some parameters and data communicated to the IT system, through the browser used by the Users. These tools therefore allow an analysis of their habits in using a particular website.

3. Data entered voluntarily by Users: purposes and methods of use

For simple navigation on the public site, it is not necessary to register, but to be able to register on the Site you must be over 18 years old and read the specific information that will be issued by AIM Italy at the time of actual registration. In any case, AIM Italy undertakes to use the Users' personal data only in the ways, terms and for the purposes specified below.

The Data Controller processes Users' personal data for the following purposes:

(i) allow optimal navigation on the AIM Italy Site;

(ii) fulfill legal obligations;

(iii) carry out the technical management of the Site.

The data provided by Users will be processed mainly with IT tools under the authority of the Data Controller, by specifically designated subjects, authorized and instructed in the processing pursuant to art. 2- quaterdecies of 13 Legislative Decree 30 June 2003, n. 196, as amended by Legislative Decree 10 August 2018, n. 101 (hereinafter, " Privacy Code ") and art. 29 of the Privacy Regulation. Appropriate security measures will be observed also pursuant to art. 5 and 32 of the Privacy Regulation to prevent data loss, illicit or incorrect use and unauthorized access.

4. Optional or mandatory nature of data transfer, consequences of denial and juridical basis of the processing

In order to allow an optimal web navigation on the AIM Italy Site, as well as for the technical management of the same, transfer of the Users’ personal data is mandatory.

With reference to the items (i), (ii) and (iii) of preceding section 3, the juridical base of the processing is the section 6, paragraph 1, letter b) of the Data Protection Regulation;  with reference to the item (ii) of preceding section 3, the juridical base of the processing is the fulfilment of legal obligations by the Data Controller as per section 6, paragraph 1, letter c) of the Data Protection Regulation.

5. To whom and in what area the Data Controller may transmit the Users' personal data

Users' personal data may be disclosed within the EU, in full compliance with the provisions of the Privacy Regulation, to the following subjects:

(i) to public authorities, where this is required by law or at their request;

(ii) to external structures and / or companies that the Data Controller uses to carry out activities connected, instrumental or consequent to optimal navigation within the AIM Italy site;

(iii) to external consultants, if not designated in writing as Data Processors.

The aforementioned subjects, to whom the Users 'data may be communicated (as they are not designated in writing as Data Processors or as they are not joint controllers of the same), will process the Users' personal data as data controllers in accordance with the applicable legislation. , in full autonomy, being unrelated to the original treatment performed by AIM Italy.

6. Users' rights

Individual Users may at any time exercise the rights referred to in Articles. 15, 16, 17, 18, 20 and 21 of the Privacy Regulation, by sending a written communication to the contact details of the Data Controller referred to in paragraph 1 above and, consequently, to obtain:

  • confirmation of the existence or otherwise of their personal data with indication of its origin, verify its accuracy or request its updating, rectification, integration;

  • access, rectification, deletion of personal data or limitation of processing;

  • the cancellation, transformation into anonymous form or blocking of personal data processed in violation of the law.

Furthermore, individual Users may object to the processing of their personal data.

Users have the right to exercise the aforementioned rights, in the manner established by art. 12 of the GDPR and within the limits established by art. 2- undecies of the Privacy Code.

7. Duration of the Treatment

Without prejudice to legal obligations, Users' personal data will be kept for the period strictly necessary to allow optimal navigation on the AIM Italy Site. Notwithstanding the foregoing, AIM Italy may retain certain personal data of Users even after the request for termination of the processing and this exclusively to defend or assert one's own right or in the cases provided for by law or as a result of the order of a judicial authority or administrative.

8. Security measures

Through the Site, the Users' personal data are processed in compliance with the applicable law and using adequate security measures, in compliance with the legislation in force, also pursuant to art. 5 and 32 of the Privacy Regulation.

In this regard, we confirm, among other things, the adoption of appropriate security measures aimed at preventing unauthorized access, theft, disclosure, modification or unauthorized destruction of User data.

9. Changes to the Privacy Policy

This information is subject to changes by the Data Controller; AIM Italy will communicate the changes to Users by email, with a notice of at least 15 days from the date on which the new information will apply.
